Rory McCann’s audition for Sandor Clegane aka the Hound. I am really, really sad that this scene was cut. This was a lot of really important character development for the Hound and it was reduced to nearly an afterthought during the tourney scene. It’s probably my least favorite change they made. You can tell from this video that his performance became a little more sullen and quiet for the hound, but no less threatening.
Anyway, just get to 0:59 and try not to shit yourself. Seriously. Holy shit.
